Welcome to Carroll County Schools! Our mission is to graduate students ready to be enrolled, enlisted, or employed and engaged in their community, and our two college and career academy campuses are integral to that mission.

Our college and career academies combine classroom instruction with real-world, hands-on experiences that give students a look at advanced technical careers. Each student is different! While we intend for every student to graduate, each one is actively engaged in a process to determine what comes next. If a student wants to become a medical doctor, we help her get the advanced science courses and the right hands-on experiences to prepare for a four-year degree and medical school. If a student wants to be a welder, we help her with a dual-enrollment program that leads to industry standard certifications and a job offer at graduation (or before). If a student wants to be a teacher, we offer courses at our college and career academy and hands-on experience with children that can lead him toward a degree in education. 

Even with 16,000 students, we aren’t in mass production. We want each student to have an individual, personalized experience that leads him or her to the right choices for the future. Thanks to your support, we continue to offer our students a premier experience that impacts them now and in the future. We are convinced that an investment in them now will pay dividends for generations. We are focused on them because their future is our mission!
