Weightlifters from Bowdon High, Central High and Villa Rica High brought home four team state titles on March 2 at the 2024 Georgia Athletic Coaches Association Lee Murray Weightlifting Championships.
Bowdon High won their fifth consecutive 1A Division 2 boys title.
Central High won their second consecutive 4A boys title.
Villa Rica High won the 5A boys title and the 5A girls title.
Along with these team wins, there were multiple individual first and second place finishes for student athletes from Carroll County high schools.
