The Central High School FFA's Junior Poultry Evaluation Team won first place in the state while Central Middle School FFA's Rylan Hester won an individual state title in the Junior Forestry contest. CHS's Agricultural Communications team took 2nd place and Central Middle School FFA's Junior Forestry Team took 2nd place as well. Career Development Events help students develop the abilities to think critically, communicate clearly and perform effectively in a competitive job market. . Georgia FFA members have the opportunity to participate in CDEs and Leadership Development Events ranging from floral design to dairy cattle evaluation. Some events allow students to compete as individuals, while others allow them to compete in teams.
