Congratulations to Ken McLendon, the Carroll County Schools 24STRONG Award winner for August 2024. Mr. McLendon works as School Nutrition Maintenance Technician and is a vital part of keeping all 23 school kitchens functioning correctly. Nominations from many school nutrition managers mentioned his smiling face and his offer, "is there anything else I can do?" He consistently goes beyond expectations in his role by demonstrating a positive attitude, vast knowledge and problem-solving skills, and strong communication skills. Mr. McLendon is a tremendous asset to the Carroll County team, and his work directly contributes to a positive and supportive learning environment, as well as well-fed students and faculty.
