Whitesburg Elementary School has dedicated its outdoor basketball court in honor of Aaron McWhorter and Family. The McWhorter Family has made a significant investment in WES over a number of years including funding to build an outdoor basketball court for students at the school. Whitesburg Elementary also features the Opal and Alton McWhorter Music Center where students receive instruction on state-of-the-art digital piano equipment. Aaron and Linda McWhorter's grandchildren Wyatt and Nellie shot the ceremonial first baskets on the news court. We are grateful to the McWhorter family for making a lasting impact on Whitesburg Elementary School in this any many other ways!
