Congratulations to Bowdon High School Sophomore and two-time cross country state champion Averi Lowen for being named the Atlanta Track Club Female Runner of the Year. After winning the Class A Division II state title as the fastest female cross country runner in any classification in Georgia, Lowen won the Women's Championship 5k at the Nike Southeast Regionals in Cary, North Carolina. Lowen is the first female runner from a Class A high school to win the ATC's Runner of the Year award.
