Congratulations to Villa Rica High School student Zarrian Bowen for being awarded the the 2025 Martin Luther King Jr. Turn Around Student Award by the Carrollton MLK Coalition. Bowen is a lifelong Villa Rica Wildcat and stand out student among her classmates for her strong academics and artistic ability. She is president of the VRHS Arts Honor Society and has received numerous recognitions including an AP Scholar with Distinction and College Board's National African American Recognition Program.
Throughout high school, Bowen has challenged herself to pursue honors and advanced level course work and hone her skills as an artist. Many of her art pieces have been on display at Villa Rica High School and in the local community. Art is a true passion that she hopes to continue at the University of Georgia after high school graduation.
