volunteers move furniture at CES

Post-planning is a time to clean, purge and reset, and Central Elementary School is doing more of that than usual, as several grade levels are relocating around campus for the 2025-26 school year. To help with the monumental move, volunteers, including students from Roopville Road Baptist Church, showed up May 22 to provide extra heft.

"We were grateful to welcome the SPLASH team from Roopville Road Baptist Church to Central Elementary School, where they generously volunteered their time to help our teachers move furniture and supplies," CES Principal Marla Turpin said. "With several classrooms shifting to better align grade levels, there was plenty to relocate—and their support made a big difference. We truly appreciate their willingness to step in and lend a hand!"

Thank you to all those who go the extra mile to help our teachers, parapros and others prepare for summer and next year!
