Eleven new leaders for Carroll County Schools experienced the New Leader Workshop for two full days this week, learning from and interacting with Superintendent Scott Cowart, assistant superintendents and district leaders across a wide range of departments and topics.

The eleven are new to their positions and some are new to the district. A few began in the second half of last school year, but most are assuming their posts for the 2025-26 school year.

Sessions over the two days included Defining Your Purpose as a Carroll County Leader, Communicating and Building your Leader Brand, Unlocking Impact through Financial Stewardship and Maximizing School Performance: Effectively Using Resources.
