The Mount Zion cluster of schools hosted a community conversation Monday, October 6 in Mount Zion High School's new band room to share information and get critical feedback from parents and community leaders. Along with school and district leadership and school board members, parents were joined by representatives from the Carroll County government, the Carroll Co. Sheriff's Office, Tanner Health System, the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce and other community organizations. A panel discussion highlighted school and community efforts to enhance school safety and student wellness. School principals then led small groups in a discussion around key questions for parent and community input. Thank you to everyone who attended to share and learn together. We look forward to continuing the conversation around these issues and others that may surface in the future. We are better together!
