Carroll County Schools welcomed area realtors to the system's Performing Arts Center November 7 to share its newly published Annual Report and Performance Dashboard, as well as gather feedback on shared priorities. Superintendent Scott Cowart hosted the group, thanking them for their role in welcoming new families to the area and describing the system's commitment to positively changing lives and providing a healthy and vibrant school community.
District Student Ambassador and Bay Springs Middle School Student Chapel Boyd led in the Pledge of Allegiance. Realtors broke into groups to share ways they are cooperating with local schools to build community. Ithica Elementary School Principal Angela Hopewell, College and Career Academy North Campus Principal Shayna Moses and District Student Ambassador and Villa Rica High School Student Allison Brown made up a panel that highlighted what it means to be a first choice school.
