Congratulations to Villa Rica High School Associate Director of Bands Ann Wilson for being named the 2026 Young Music Educator of the Year by the Georgia Music Educators Association. Under Wilson's direction, the Villa Rica High School Midnight Jazz Cats performed later in the GMEA's winter conference at the Classic Center in Athens. The Midnight Jazz Cats were one of only two high school jazz bands in the state invited to perform at this year's conference. In addition, the Cats have been selected to perform at the Minority Band Directors National Association National Invitational in April. Congratulations to Ms. Wilson and the Midnight Jazz Cats!
