Superintendent Scott Cowart and other school and district administrators greet guests at a recent community partnership event at Villa Rica High School.

The Villa Rica cluster of schools hosted a community partnership event last week at Villa Rica High School, recognizing and celebrating the many vibrant partnerships with governmental bodies, nonprofit organizations and businesses in the Villa Rica community. VRHS Principal Dr. Mike Bedosky introduced Senior Jennifer Colotl Lemus who shared her experience as part of the College & Career Academy and the Tanner Connections program, which is preparing her for a healthcare career. Participants including cluster principals, city and county officials and business leaders enjoyed an open networking time to connect with others. High schools in each cluster of schools are hosting similar meetings this spring to celebrate partnership across Carroll County.
