Carroll County Schools students took top honors in the Carrollton Kiwanis Club's Art and Music Showcase on February 8. The Carrollton Kiwanis Foundation presented $1,500 in scholarships to student art winners and another $1,500 in scholarships to winning students in the music showcase.

Abigail Cihla, senior at Bowdon High School, was presented a scholarship of $500 for her best-in-show painting, Family Reflections. The referring teacher is Ms. Stephanie Norton.

Paola Nunez Rosendo, senior at Central High School, was presented a scholarship of $400 for her first place pedestal art Wig Industry. The referring teacher is Ms. Tuesdee Lambert.

Cloe Robertson, junior at Villa Rica High School, was presented a scholarship of three hundred dollars for her second place painting Intertwined, The referring teacher is Mr. Carl Jordan.
