Friday, March 20, 2026, is a Professional Learning Day for our educators in Carroll County. There will be no school for students, as all faculty and staff will be engaged in important professional development activities.
The purpose of Professional Learning Days is to provide our teachers with valuable time to:
Learn new skills and strategies they can implement in their classrooms.
Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and best practices.
Further develop their expertise to better support our students' learning.
Professional development is essential to help our educators analyze student achievement data, identify learning challenges, and develop and apply solutions promptly to meet our students' needs. On March 20, teachers will be diving deep into school-level data so our students can finish the school year strong.
