We are working on other school safety upgrades this summer including enhanced security cameras, school resource officers and the addition of the SHIELD Lockdown System on two more campuses. Next month, school and district safety teams will join with local law enforcement agencies at our annual safety summit, an event we pioneered over a decade ago to give school staff and first responders access to specific training and resources and collaboration time. While students may be enjoying summer break, there is plenty of work happening to prepare for a great start and a wonderful school year!
