Carroll County Schools has an updated student electronic device policy for the 2026-27 school year.

For Kindergarten through 8th Grade, Georgia state law prohibits electronic devices such as cell phones, smart watches, earbuds, etc. during the school day in all elementary and middle schools. Devices must be kept in the student’s bag or left at a designated area provided by the school.

For Grades 9-12, electronic devices such as cell phones, smart watches, earbuds, etc. are not allowed during instructional time and must be placed in the student's bag or in a box provided in the classroom.
