Carroll County Schools high school football teams visited the Carroll County Schools Performing Arts Center July 27 to meet and speak with local media outlets about the 2026 season. Bowdon, Central, Mount Zion, Temple and Villa Rica teams cycled through meeting rooms with the school system, Georgia Public Broadcasting, WGTV, Gradick Sports and Hometown Sports Media answering questions and gaining experience. After a break, visiting teams Carrollton, Heard County, Haralson County, Bremen and Holy Ground had the same experience. Thank you to local sponsors who helped make this event possible. Most local teams open with a scrimmage on August 7. The official week of the football season is August 21.
