Thank you to the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce for organizing and presenting a wonderful panel discussion on the State of Education in Carroll County. Superintendent Dr. Jessica Ainsworth joined other panelists (Dr. Mike Johnson – University of West Georgia, Dr. Julie Post – West Georgia Technical College, Dr. Mark Albertus – Carrollton City Schools, Patrick Yuran – Oak Mountain Academy) to discuss workforce development, collaboration, and building a regional talent pipeline among other topics before an audience of school and community leaders.
Carroll County enjoys a wonderful comprehensive education system supporting children and adults as they navigate from preschool through secondary, post-secondary, career and continuing education. Carroll County Schools takes our part in that ecosystem seriously and aims for every child to graduate high school ready for further enrollment, gainful employment, or military enlistment, and community engagement no matter where they live.
Thank you to our friends at ValuTeachers for sponsoring the event.
