The Grimes Foundation generously donated $5,000 to the Carroll County Schools Social Worker Emergency Fund, helping local families prepare for the new school year. The Emergency Fund can be accessed by school social workers when they find a family with immediate and profound need that can't wait on assistance that requires a longer application period or lengthy approval process. This support is just one of the many ways the Grimes Foundation empowers our local students—from stocking school pantries with non-perishable food to providing essential clothing, food, and hygiene items funded by their Annual Hop Into Spring 5K.  Click here to make a donation to the Social Worker Emergency Fund.
