Congratulations to Mrs. Patty Younker, the Carroll County Schools 24Strong winner for August 2026! Mrs. Younker plays an important role in Whole Child Support as Lead School Nurse. Our 18 nurses, 10 clinic assistants and 13 substitute nurses serve over 16,000 students, and as their leader, Mrs. Younker sets the tone, reminding her team that even though they are spread out over 23 schools and multiple sites, no one serves alone. This summer, Mrs. Younker transformed the annual Nurse and Clinic Assistant Competency Day into an unforgettable “Connect Air” experience, making required training meaningful, fun, and focused on building relationships. Thank you, Mrs. Younker, for embodying what it means to be #24STRONG -- providing great service while demonstrating genuine care to students who aren't feeling their best. You positively change lives!
