The Bowdon cluster of schools gathered with parents, community partners and key stakeholders for a Community CONNECTion event on October 5 at Bowdon High School, sharing information from the new Carroll County Schools annual report and gathering crucial feedback from the community that will help the schools plan for the future.

After informal networking time, Superintendent Dr. Jessica Ainsworth welcomed guests and showed off the Carroll County School System's freshly minted 2026 Annual Report. The report which highlights student and employee achievements from last school year was formally introduced to at last month's board meeting.

Bowdon High School Principal Jeff Bryant shared some specific connection points for the Bowdon cluster before dividing the audience into three groups for a feedback activity. Administrators led participants to share both areas where Bowdon schools are thriving and areas where they would like to see enhancements, improvements and further investment.

After sharing findings from the feedback activity, Bryant, along with Bowdon Elementary School Principal Ginny Edwards and Bowdon Middle School Principal Stephanie Godfrey, shared some specific achievements of their students and faculty since the beginning of the school year.
