Carroll County Schools has been awarded a grant for $1,915 to help provide Special Needs Transportation Equipment by Georgia School Boards Association Risk Management Services
The annual Safety Grant program provides RMS member school systems with financial assistance to address identified safety needs and implement improvements across their operations. Funded initiatives range from protective equipment and facility enhancements to specialized training and other measures intended to reduce potential hazards.
Applications were reviewed by a selection committee comprising GSBA staff from multiple departments. To support an objective evaluation process, applications were anonymized and reviewed comparatively before recipients were selected.
The Safety Grant program is one of several initiatives through which GSBA Risk Management Services helps member school systems strengthen their risk management practices. Through training, technical assistance and other resources, RMS works alongside its members to identify potential hazards, improve workplace safety and reduce the likelihood of preventable incidents.
